Parks & Recreation Office/Sergeant Bluff Community Center: 943-5800
Effective December 1, 2009, the City of Sergeant Bluff assumed ownership of the Bluffs Area Family Center, located at 903 Topaz Drive. The building, a/k/a The Big Blue Building, was donated to the City by the Winkel Family Foundation. In February 2010, the City Council voted to officially name the facility the Sergeant Bluff Community Center. The City has hired Dan Hospers for the newly created position of Recreation Coordinator. His primary responsibility is running the Sergeant Bluff Community Center.
